So today I got ready to sew a bag for my sister...

Except that I can't find my rotary cutter or cutting mat. So now I'm stuck.

I want to get this done so I can do my own bag!!

Life lesson: if you want to be able to use your stuff, remember where the heck you put it.

A new bag!

So, I'm working on designing a new bag. My sister and I went to the store last week and bought fabric for it. I hope to begin work soon! I'll post here and show you what I get. :)

One of the First

This was one of my first bags. These were taken almost two years ago when I first started sewing. I came up with this pattern myself and taught myself to sew. This reversible Hannahannah bag is $15 and great for the holidays!.

Well...

I'm back from a family vacation... with my family. It was really fun and I'll have some photos up hopefully soon. My Hannahannah bag held up through it all; stuffed with all the things I needed in a carry-on bag for the plane and then  made back into a purse when we were tromping around town.

I love using colorful fabrics to create things. I'm totally up for custom-making bags or lanyards. If you have an idea of something you want, shoot it my way and I'll do my best to make it.

Mom's Lanyard

 This is my mom's well-loved lanyard ($4.00). Though passed through many dirty and rough hands the lanyard is still in fairly good shape after more than a year. Cute and durable!!!!
